EmmonsLike many houses in the Maplewood area, this three bedroom, one and a half bath home with its small out dated kitchen was not meeting the owner’s needs. With a larger than normal lot size for the area and great neighbors on a quiet street, adding on was the way to go. Clawson Architects not only reconfigured the front entrance from the center to the side to create a foyer, they added all new wood floors and architectural details to define the spaces. A two story rear addition added the much needed square footage to allow the homeowners a new kitchen with breakfast room, a Master Suite and multiple outdoor living spaces. Before After The second floor of this addition became a spacious new Master Suite with a covered balcony.
An addition was added to the rear of the house to create a new kitchen and breakfast room, a covered porch and side deck both with access to the rear patio.
