How do you add onto your house without increasing the foot print? Many houses are big enough but the interior spaces do not meet the families living style. This gracious old home has a lovely covered front porch on a tree lined street, but there was no informal family space. Clawson Architects created a sunny family room addition out of an under utilized screened in porch on the back.

The footprint of the structure remained the same however, Clawson Architects was able to extend the living space and add some details that were consistent with the original design elements thru the use of a bay window.
