Leaha Dandurand

July 18, 2020

AIA — Associate Architect and Historic Preservationist

Leaha was designing with an awareness of history and historic preservation before she even realized it. She credits her family with recognizing her passion and talents and nurturing her interest by indulging her with art supplies, historical tours and vacations that always included some type of architectural experience. Leaha’ s interests are captured in a skillful melding of design, history and historic preservation, and her delight in her chosen profession is quite evident, as she works documenting and detailing the projects at Clawson Architects. Leaha believes that houses have souls and many untold or forgotten stories that deserve to be honored through thoughtful design. In her spare time, Leaha is researching and restoring her own 100+-year old home, giving her a real hands-on education that she brings along with her passion to her professional practice.

Leaha is a registered architect in the State of New Jersey. She has dual Masters Degrees in Architecture and Historic Preservation from Roger Williams University’s School of Architecture, Art and Historic Preservation. Leaha joined our team in early 2017 and has become a valued team member.
